   Tripod Size comparison

Choose the right tripod to support your dish!

Surveyor tripods have the flexibility to be set up at varying heights and with the feet spread to varying distances. They are extremely easy to set up with a level top and plumb mast, even on very uneven terrain.

In the photo at left are four tripods that are set up specifically to provide a visual comparison of size.

When supporting an expensive internet dish, it is important to consider the possible height and the relative footprint that is attainable for stability. In this photo, the head of the tallest tripod is at 6 feet from the ground. With the requisite offset mast adapter, the mast top is at 7' from the ground with the legs at this angle.

The largest surveyor tripod in the photo, with the orange parts, is a

CST/Berger model 60-ALW30.

The next one down is the

CST/Berger model 60-SMSN25.

The smallest surveyor tripod is the CST/Berger model 60-ALQR20

The tripod with the yellow legs and the grey centerpost is a Trupoint brand.
