The OPI is indispensible for mobile, self-aimed Hughes and DirecWay dishes. It allows the user to read the signal strength and cross-pol numbers right at the dish.

This instrument is connected, during setup, between the LNB and the Modem on the receive coax. When the computer screen is displaying signal strength, the OPI will show that same number at the dish, allowing you to fine-tune your aim.

Likewise, when the computer is showing cross-pol numbers, during a Manual Cross-pol test, those numbers will be reflected on the OPI, allowing the user to tweak their cross-pol for the highest possible number and it will even tell you if you are passing or failing!

OPI unit includes 22 Khz filter and hook-and-loop strap for holding it on the mast, as well as a coax pigtail with 2 F-connectors.
